For the most fantastic views of San Francisco City and Bay, visit Coit Tower. For the best recreational area in the city, visit Pier 39. This is home to 110 stores, bay-view restaurants and great fun attractions. If you’re an outdoor enthusiast, you may like to go to the National Park, Presidio. This was once a military post. Avid gardeners may be interested in visiting the Conservatory of Flowers at Golden Gate Park. Another interesting area of San Francisco is the Mare Island Historic Park Foundation. If you’d like your children to learn more about animals and sea life, bring them to the Aquarium of the Bay at Fisherman’s wharf and San Francisco Zoo. Both young and old will enjoy themselves at California’s Great America, the 11-acre water park, which is located in the nearby Silicon Valley.
